Recently received my winter wheel and tire combo package from Tire Rack for my S3. 18 inch Bremmer Kraft rims with Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D tires. Not ready to install winters yet in central Ohio fortunately however. Went to the dealer this weekend to get clarification on nulling the tire pressure monitoring system for when I do change to winters. To my joy, the TPMS sensors are located in the hub of the wheel assembly and NOT on the tire. I have the 19 inch package with my S3. The hub sensors are not as accurate as the wheel mounted sensors however. When I install my winters, I only have to go into the car settings on the MMI and reset the TPMS there. Piece of cake. Assumed it would be a bigger pain.
