Wiper chatter

Mine finally stopped on its own, around the third rainy drive.

I'm having a similar problem. When my A3 was new (about a month ago) I could hardly see in the rain since the wipers seemed to leave a film on the windshield. I tried cleaning the window and wipers, but that didn't help.
Last night I applied a coating of aquapel to my window, which helped with the film, but now my wipers chatter horribly when used. Any other thoughts?

Just run em like nuts.
Mine were so bad I almost turned around and drove back to the dealer. But I just put them on full blast and the problem was gone within about an hour maybe.
It is just a new wiper thing.

So, after some thought and measurements (on my other Audis) I decided that I think the driver side wiper is simply too long. (?)
On my car at least it was the bottom edge of the wiper that was chattering. I tried a wiper 2 inches shorter and the chattering was gone. (24 inch blade.) OR, could simply be that the new blade was better or less aged.
