2015 A3 Cabriolet: Is voice disabled?/rear seat headrests

Just purchased a new Premium Plus A3 Cab and the rear head rests cause a visibility issue and detract from the looks of the car whit the top down. I have removed the rear head rests but as I watch European reviews of the A3, I see a sleeker rear head rest design that does not interfere with rear visibility and they look much better. Does anyone know if these are available in the US?

Agree 100% on the headrests. I had the salesman at the dealership remove mine before I left the lot with my car. Given the amount of room in the back seats, I don't suspect I'll ever have anyone actually riding on the back so I'm not the least bit worried about them not being there!
Question on the voice enablement...did the dealer charge you to do enable this?

I'd Love to buy the European style rear headrests too, if anyone knows a dealer that stocks/sells them, make sure to post about it, I hate having holes in my back seat, but it's still better than those massive head restraints.

But yes, I do believe the middle headrest in the u.s. version is similar in the sedan to the euro spec, although the outer 2 headrests are much larger and block a significant portion of the smallish rear window (although not as bad as the cabriolet).

You're luck - I live in Canada and Audi Canada won't allow the dealers to make the change to turn the voice recognition back on - I've a 'full load' 2016 A3 Cabriolet - really bothers me that Siri doesn't even work on my iPhone when the car is on. Wish there was some way to talk to someone in charge at Audi Canada and get them to see that users end up typing in commands rather than safely using voice control. - And they say it's turned off 'for safety reasons' - I say BS
