Here is one in Cosmos Blue with the Gray interior and 18" wheels. Some new things include getting the high res color center screen without Nav, start-stop, USB, new infotainment system, all weather lights, and deletion of parking sensors on the Premium model.

Does the 2017 S3 get the start-stop also? If so is there a way to permanently disable it ?

Yes the 2017 S3 has start/stop......It can be done with a VCDS module, but apparently a bit hit and miss....do a search on Audi-Sport.net for info.

Just push the control switch to deactivate after you start the engine. Really, that is not too hard to do, as you have to push a button to start the car.

I drove a VW with start/stop and really disliked it. I'll be extremely disappointed if my S3 has this feature; would've given more consideration to purchasing the 2016 model had I known this. Your correct about its only another button to push. But it's annoying to have to do it every time you start the car. There is no "good" reason why the car cannot remember my preference.

I see the gauge cluster is the same as my 2016 A3. I thought all the 17's had the new LED screen instead of gauges?

Depends on the trim, so no def not standard.........honestly if I were getting a new a3/s3 or any 17+ Audi in low trim I would just wait for a good CPO to pop up with the works and save some money or just lease with nice trim.

If I upgrade to a 17 s3 or rs3 (depending on price of rs of course) I want that bad boy loaded up personally.

Gauges appear to be the same but the monochrome display uses a different font. You need a Premium Plus with Technology Package for virtual cockpit.

You guys are in for a treat because once you move past the entry, Premium model, the vehicle looks noticeably different on the rear. Looks at audiusa.com and you'll see. My girlfriend pre ordered her 2017 Audi A3 in mid august and arriving end of october early november. I may or may not be the first to post pics and stay subscribed or follow me on here but her specs are:

2017 A3 Premium Plus - Ibis White - Black Interior
Technology Package
Sport Package (3 spoke flat bottom steering wheel, Audi Drive Select, front sport seats)
LED Lighting Package
Bang & Olufsen Sound System
Stainless Steel Pedal Caps

I'll post pics as a brand new post. Basically, she'll have most of the new visual look of an S3 with A3 power :-) She's open to Stage 1 tune to give it some more oomph

looking forward to these pics. I am considering the 2016 A3 and wondering if I should go for the 2017.

I am definitely going to post! Which trim level are you considered? If premium plus or higher I would go for 2017. The tech (Apple car play/android auto, virtual cockpit, s line package standard) all worth it. Will make pre 2017 look dated, no offense to anyone. There's a significant difference for sure in tech and visually if you're a hardcore enthusiast or picky. I would preorder with exact options if you're spending big bucks. I'll post pics and you decide but already glad to have waited for 2017. Plus, it's in its 3rd year so just another years forward of any other kinks figured out.
