Default 2017 S3 Tyres

I have seen pics of just delivered UK S3'3 with 19" wheels that come from the factory with Hankook tyres...can anyone confirm that this is also the case for North America?
If you have received an S3 with these tyres, what are the handling (wet and dry) ride and noise qualities?

Looks like Michelin Pilot Sports if you zoom in on the pictures of the US configurator.

Zoom in on that front tire ...

I have noted that also, but has anyone taken delivery of a 2017 with 19" tyres and what was supplied on that vehicle....reason not too keen on Hankook. Also I note that Tire Rack and Hankook USA/Canada do not show a tyre with 235/35/Y/19 XL rated tyres, as of this date. But, UK S3 vehicles are being delivered with Hankook on 19" rims.

I agree, Hankook is not what I have or would ever choose for my own purchase. It's also definitely not what I would expect for the price of the vehicle, but hey, at least they're not from Kumho.

Different Markets get different tires. my guess would be Michelin, or Pirelli if history has anything to do with it
