Default Audi S3 Order

Ordered the car back in October, and the actual times has been changing and different throughout the process. Has anyone else had trouble with getting accurate information with tracking their car through the dealership. My salesman has been confused also. I am just going to sit back, and relax. The car should be here any day now!

Yes, that is the way to do it. To much wasted energy on tracking these cars.

i got very little info from my dealer. The communication was not great. Heck i get at least 1 email a week from the general manager or another sales person asking me if i am still interested in an s3...... after i put a deposit down and car is due to arrive any day.

That's when I would call around to other dealers and see if they could get the same or very similar car within a finite deadline, with better communication, and less hassle. You'd probably end up getting a better price too, as bad communication and understanding that you've already put a deposit down seems to indicate a bad dealer to me.

I would relax and let the process flow. Getting accurate info on anything you order is questionable at best. The Tuesday before Thanksgiving I was checking the status of an online furniture order and it was shown as just having left the warehouse in the South and due to me in NYS the Monday after Thanksgiving. Minutes later the doorbell rang and it was there. Just hope for the best.

Got mine today after it had been delayed at the Rhode Island port since November 24th. Hope that means good things for other folks experiencing delays.
