Ok, so haven't done the build thread yet but here is what I did. I took an HDMI to RCA converter and hooked it up to the MMI system. Then I added the Samsung mini usb to HDMI converter (picture shown) and ran it all under the center console. I can get it to mirror the phone but I can't get the sound to work. If you tilt the phone to landscape it will do so on the screen. Took some pics with my hand in front so you can see it work.

I purchased this aftermarket door seal/trim or whatever you want to call it. It is an excellent product for a cheap price. It does in fact reduce the wind noise that you tend to get when cruising at highway speed.
Yes it is. They give you two rolls. You run each roll from the front of the A pillar to the back of the C pillar in one long strip across the top. It's a quick install and works well IMO.

what model car did you install it in? I have a 2011 A3 and the dealer is telling me it takes 2-2.5 hrs to replace one door opening (the one on the body of the car not the door) Is this molding you used similar to the factory stuff?
