First Look: My Audi S3 Sepang Blue
Hello Everyone,
New to Audi, and this forum. Just wanted to post some photos of my Audi which my brother and I picked up this past Friday. It's a 2015 S3 Sepang Blue, w/ Prestige package and the 19" Performance package.
I've put 500 miles on it so far, most of it being highway miles. Haven't really red lined it, but was driving in a rather spirited fashion till I started getting 15 mpg in the city, so kinda toned it down for now. Haha!
I'm still not sure about engine break-in rules as there are polar opposite theories floating around from seemingly credible sources, so I'm just staying on the safe side and not redlining it or driving in dynamic mode till around 1000-1200 miles. My dealer said there are no such break-ins needed anymore, and I should drive the way I usually do so the engine learns my style. Not too sure about that :P
I just moved to this car after owning my first BMW 335i xdrive e92 for about 8 months. It had a coilover suspension with all kinds of coding, and the alpina B3 transmission flash. I thought I'd have a hard time parting with it, and it's superior handling/speed, but boy, was I wrong?! My S3, so far thank God, has been simply brilliant in all facets, and I couldn't be happier with the move!
Lastly, since it's my first post ever on a forum, and possibly one of many as I interact with all of you here, I would like to thank my brother, Faiz, for helping me through each and every step, starting from choosing the S3 itself, and also slowly, but surely, turning me into a car enthusiast!! Couldn't have done it without ya!
Cheers,
Saad

Regarding the center caps I purchased 60mm Audi OEM center caps via eBay, sanded the clips off and glued them onto the Alzor center caps (which are 55mm). I removed the plastic Alzor logo first to allow the Audi caps to mount better. Didn't take long.
