Launch Control grinding noise.
The first time I tried the Launch Control I didn't notice any noise other than the tire chirp. Second time I tried it, I heard a muffled grinding noise when it put the power down. Tried it again a few days later and still the same grinding noise. I'm scared to use the launch control now. Those 3 times appears to be the only times that I will use the launch control. Oh well...

I would take it in for service. Could be an early sign of a failing transmission. Of course, if use of launch control voids the warranty, then maybe you should forget about it.

I have not read the warranty, so I don't know. But, if you use it every single day a couple of times per day, I'm pretty sure it does for the transmission. There is a counter which keeps track how often it is used. I believe when the Nissan Skyline GTR came out, a single use of launch control voided the warranty.

I don't think launch control voids warranty. But if that happens then manufacturer, in this instance Audi, will be sued for sure.

I don't think it would void the warrantee if they feature LC and limit the # of launches.
May be Ryan can figure out how to display the number on the MMI.

I can not believe using a feature designed into the car by the manufacturer voids the warranty. If it does, the law suit would be a slam dunk. Even Saul Goodman could win that decision for you.
