LED interior lights without LED light interior package
hello everyone, as you can see I am new in this forum, I have been looking your post from a while now and i just have some questions.
I OWN AN A3 PREMIUM PLUS 1.8T from usa, unfortunately i couldn't buy the interior led package so i did by myself, i changed all the interior lights.
but i really want the ones for the door and the ones that illuminates the floor of the passengers i don't know the name of it.
is there any way to install them ? or buying the parts at the audi store and install by myself?

I am considering a 2015 A3 2.0 quattro Premium Plus service loaner. I have two good choices - one with and one without the LED interior lighting. I am thinking I will love the LED lights, but being that the Seattle sun doesn't set until late in the evening, I really can't see the LED's in full effect. Do you think this option is a good add? I understand it does the interior door handles (all four?), cup holders, footwell lights (passenger only?) and map lights. I would love any one's feedback on these LED lights and if you like them or not!

If you forsee yourself driving at night-time in Seattle and would prefer interior night lighting over pitch black, then I would get the LED light (Convenience) package.
Any 2016 A3 shopper reading this, you definitely want to get the LED light package since Audi included the Full LED headlights as part of the package.

Thank you! Yes, I would really like some interior ambiance lighting. The door handle lights are just very subtle, right? And the cupholders are cute but otherwise don't do too much. I guess it adds a little something...
My situation is I have two 2015 CPO car options I am considering: one has the convenience package and the other has the B&O speakers. I'm trying to decide which option I would prefer.
I know I could just install an upgraded sound system, but I've heard such awesome things about the B&O and I'm not much of a sound person so I wouldn't know what to replace it with. With the convenience package I really want the dimmable rearview mirror with compass and the interior LED lighting..... so what to do???
Can I get a dimmable/compass rearview mirror installed after market? Can I get footwell lighting installed after market?

In regard to the LED lighting, you should research this forum and others. I believe others have added the interior LED lighting after the fact. That would be an easier DIY job.

I had some problems with the convenience package missing from my ordered car. They tried to install the mirror at the dealer and were unable to. Seems there is some wiring that is missing. I can tell you that in a loaner I had the compass on the mirror was annoying and Im now glad I dont have it. It was big and bright red and kept distracting me.
Not having the interior LED lights bothers me sometimes but the B&O stereo is fantastic and i wouldnt give that up for the other I can tell you that much.

Man that's a tough call. I have Convenience package but no B&O and you probably seen my rants on here wishing I had ticked the B&O option.
I don't know what to tell you because I myself would want B&O but I wouldn't want to depart my Convenience package.
On my next Audi, if I do another 8V (likely RS3), I'm going to option everything.

I wanted specifics I could not locate on the lot and ordered everything except the active cruse control ( or whatever Audi calls theirs) and the diamond stitch seat covers, that are not available on power seats ????
It's my wife's daily driver and when I am in it I'm impressed with the B&O system and glad I did get it.
One day early while still dark I went to pull it from the garage and was like wow! Those interior accent lights really add to the already nice interior.
I didn't even know they were there. She kept telling me how nice it looked at night and I was like yea ok. But once I saw it I thought the same, very nicely done accent lighting.
