Default So after I put back on my winter wheels

and stowed away the aftermarkets my car now moves like a wet ice cube on a slick counter top.

I forgotten how light these OEM wheels are compared to the aftermarkets I had on all spring, summer, and part fall.

Driving in Auto Drive select mode now feels like I'm driving in Comfort.

Im confused (which isn't hard) your winter wheels/tires are OEM and they make your car slip around?

I see the wet ice cube was not a good analogy. No slips.

My car just feels more lighter now with the OEM wheels back on.

The analogy threw me too. LOL. Big difference when I mounted my winter wheels and tires as well. But I have aftermarket winter wheels and the 19 inch OEMs are for summer fun. Have 18 inch winter package and it definitely softens the ride somewhat. More tire sidewall obviously. But I have my suspension and steering set to dynamic at all times. My Dunlop Winter Sport tires are great tires IMHO. Much better for winter driving than any all season tire but not full on snow tires. Using them makes my summer Contis last much longer too! Gamegenie: glad you're enjoying your winter setup as well.

Is it wrong that I hope for snow with this car on my winter set up? haha. I saw the temperature dip and changed off the summers before Thanksgiving. And now it looks like its gonna be a warm winter.

Storm982: You're closer to the lake than I am and will surely get more snow than us in the Cbus area. I don't mind the snow and don't mind driving in it but I can't stand the idiots around here who can't drive in the snow at all. That is my reason for wishing for a mild winter. LOL.

I know I'm not gonna get good snow here. I got snow tires for the first time in my life. Haha

My car with 18s and blizzaks is way more comfortable for dial driving. The oem 19s with the conti's is sooo much better performance wise, I was shocked honestly.

Oh i completely agree. I enjoy driving in the snow. I'll go out in a blizzard around my neighborhood just for joy rides, sliding around corners and what not. (really wishing for a manual hand brake at those times, haha) But the paranoia from the other drivers around me drives me insane. I am fully aware of my abilities and the abilities of the cars I drive (a legitimizing reason for my otherwise irrational desire to drive in inclement weather when I don't need to), I just wish others were too. haha. As bad as Cbus and Akron are, Cinci is even worse. I went to college at UC and would drive up and down 71. Cincinnati drivers were easily the worse in comparison.
