TT (8S) Steering Wheel Retrofit
Here are some pics of my retrofit. Not a plug and play install though and it involves some modification to the wiring connector and coding.
One thing to note is the left hand side, "Menu" button on the previous S3 steering wheel could not be mapped to the "View" button resulting in a loss of some functionality. Most of the functions can still be accessed via the MMI bar the function like Lap Timer, Digital Speedo etc.
On the other hand, the new Next/Prev button on the right hand side works like a treat. I find it very useful and easy for switching tracks or radio stations. And yes, fast forward or rewind works too. Just press and hold.
Lastly, if anyone has more info or luck in getting the "Menu" function, do let me know.

Would love to have that R8 wheel just to have the3 exhaust and the race buttons to hook up to my catback and coilovers! Along with having the dedicated forward/back track buttons. Nice work to OP and the R8 person.
