08 Axle Removal
#2
Did this on my '06 a couple months ago, so I'll try and recall as best I can. Take off the wheel, and there is a large nut in the center of the hub that holds the axle. From there, on the underside of the car take out the triple square bolts that fasten the axle to the differential. what I did is take out the sway bar links to allow enough clearance to swing the axle out. I've heard of people dropping the tie rod, I opted not to. pull the axle toward the middle of the car and move around as needed and it should drop out. Hope this is helpful and sorry for the terrible write up, like I said it was some time ago. Hope it was helpful. Cheers and good luck.
