So my window got stuck down and wouldn't roll up, took to audi they charged me an absurd amount to roll it up and said I needed a new window motor, for $800 more. I bought a window motor online and as it turns out, it isn't the window motor that is broken. When I press the switch on my window you can hear a click but the window doesn't roll up and down, The person who put the new motor in says its the switch, but when you go outside the car and try and put the key in the door to roll it down it still wont roll down or up so it makes me think it isn't the switch. any ideas?

It sounds like a window regulator. The window regulators are known to go out on Audi's and VW's.
