Default 2016 RS5 .. redesigned
It may looks like the new RS7 on a smaller scale, with the option to put the words "quattro" on the lower grill. Tempting to see what the new version look like.

I'd be very surprised if it looks anything like that.

Agreed. Audi's new design language is a significant change from what's shown in that RS 5 rendering. I like it in concept, but that's not what any new '5 will look like.

While I'm in awe of your artistic skills, it vaguely reminds me of a Lexus RC-F, which doesn't please me at all.

I thought the latest word is that there won't be an RS5 until at least MY 2017, but more likely MY 2018?

If you go to the current Audi website an RS5 is not shown as a 2016 model.

You can get a 2016 RS7. Saw one today (2015?). Very nice but way too big for our needs.

You'll be waiting a long time. I don't think there will be a 2016 or even a 2017. But I have no facts to back that up, just rumors I've heard on the interwebs.

Didn't think there would be a new 5 in the US until MY 2017, with the RS coming after that--2018 MY.
