They are also finding some scoring on the gearbox input shaft which means stripping the transmission to replace.
They are also finding some issues with the dual mass flywheel which in some cases may contribute to the problem.
I am going to inspect the damage when the car has been stripped out, they have said they are playing safe with this problem and replacing every single item should there be any doubt.
I can only suggest everyone with this problem should insist the dealer does the same.
Some people may be getting the problem back following the mod if the scored shaft has not been replaced.
Good Luck

I have 2010 Audi S4 6MT and I had the TSB done about 800 miles ago. I originally took it for the service due to the slight vibration you can feel when engaging the clutch. The clutch is butter smooth in the morning but when it gets hot and especially in the stop-and-go traffic the vibration appears. It is not a huge vibration/grinding, but enough to be annoying. The Audi dealership shop foreman took it for a drive and said that it feels normal to him, but he hasn't driven the 2010 Audi S4 that much that he could tell the difference. It's not a big issue, but if I even compare the clutch feeling to my 2010 Mazda5, the Mazda5 clutch feels so much smoother.

Mine is slowly returning (only been about 200 miles), and yes the vibration portion is new as well for me since the fix. you definitly can feel the vibration that you mention (feels like the spinning portion when engaging).
This isn't normal. My 5MT Audi A4 is always consistent and I never had any issues, the 6MT is not consistent and that just sucks for such a great car. The longer the car is driven, the more you can feel the issue.

What was the feedback from the dealership?

Hi, didn't actually take it to the dealership yet, as the vibrations are really small overall. And I only experience them at rpm's 900-1000 or so. I let them know in writing that I have the vibrations, just in case something comes up later. I'll plan to show it to them the next time I drive by however, but haven't gotten to it yet.
Now 3000 miles after the TSB fix, and clutch is still working ok. No signs of the original problem.

New Clutch AND Flywheel
My invoice reads like a novel. Loosening and removal of intake tube, coolant pipe, front and rear drive shafts, belly pans, heat shields, shift linkages, mid mufflers, body brace, front wheels, catalytic converters, starter and clutch slave, rear transmission brace, flywheel, transmission and transmission drive shaft. The release bearing front was worn off and there was excessive wear on release fork and pivot ball. Flywheel bearing was missing rollers. Replacement of the release bearing, guide sleeve, release fork, pivot ball and spring, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. To top it off, a manifold stud broke off while removing one of the nuts; it had to be torched out, drilled and tapped. If that wasn't enough, they couldn't get the battery to hold a charge when all was said and done, so they threw a new one in at no charge.
