This is good to hear. I believe mine are also aimed too low as I too feel I'm over-driving my lights at highway speeds. Perhaps this wasn't picked up on by the previous two owners as they were both city dwellers and I live in the country.
Now to find a good youtube video that shows where the beam height adjusters are and which way to rotate (CW or CCW).
