Hi, first time post.

2002 audi allroad 2.7T
Miles currently: 151,000

TL;DR: center dash display only shows yellow/red boxes instead of icons. Topped fluids off and now it's constant both red boxes.

I recently bought this allroad off a friend, he told me the dashboard icons didn't work anymore. I thought it would be okay because I still had other icons show up on the speedometer and rpm clusters.

But now the dashboard is constantly staying red in the lower quadrant. They look split from each other. I've looked at other audi dashboard videos and know they have different things they show the driver.

However now I am getting a yellow indication box on top of the lower red box.

So I'm a decent mechanic I think. I looked under the hood, I need an oil change, topped the fluids off. But now the yellow light goes from yellow on startup to a red box, as well as the lower box staying red. I'm nervous to drive the car without knowing what to do next. And I can't seem to find the dashboard fuse either.

Should I replace the cluster just so I can see the icons? Or is there a troubleshooting step I should try first that I'm not doing.
