Default Rear Shocks

Have recently noticed the rear of the car bouncing badly over slow speed bumps, its ok on the road,no wheel hop,no real sign of a problem till you get to higher road speeds ie in excess of 120kmh,very noticeable when above 140kmh,loose rear end, squirmy,if that's a word...has any body used the china stuff, theres a whole bunch on line with or without air bags, normally I hate china stuff, but theres no way can I afford $700 plus for a single shock.Whats the arnott strut and bag like?I have replaced both front air bags with gen oe after reading all the horror stories of arnott bags, now I see they do the OE Continental...any help here would be appreciated...

Arnott sells the Bilstein rear shocks for $215 each. I'm running these and they are holding up great unlike the Bilstein fronts, which Arnott has now discontinued. The Arnott bags are great. GEN I is stock feel and GEN II is much stiffer. Arnott's new style front shock is much better. They are closer to the OE design. I got mine from Europe before Arnott was carrying them in the US. 12,000 miles on them with no complaints.

You can't simply eliminate the rear air suspension and keep the fronts. It's all or nothing.
