Suspension Warning Lights
After doing more research I found out it was the clock spring behind the steering wheel. I found a used one for $80 and put it in - no more problems. The steering wheel is easy to remove, just make sure the battery is disconnected.
Hope this helps

Clock Spring
I don't have the part # but make sure you get the one with stability program - at least that is what my allroad needed. I got mine from Wolf Auto Parts - Audi and Volkswagen Parts
they also have an ebay store
Audi Parts, VW parts items in Used Audi Parts store on eBay!
they dismantle Audis and VW's - I have bought a few parts from them and I have no complaints. You can also do an ebay search - that's how I found these guys.
Good luck. Make sure you disconnect the battery before you take the airbag out.
