Default What's the best way to replace the IAT (G42) on a 2.7t

I have a signal too low code on the intake air temp sensor on a 2004 2.7t. (P0112).
The sensor appears to be mounted on the underneath of the intake manifold after the throttle body. I can see it using a mirror and flashlight.
Do I remove the tbb and the throttle body to access it or is there a better way?
Anyone done this can you let me know how you would do it again?

I literally just had to do this a few weeks ago. I believe I wasted a good amount of time trying to do it without removing the tb, but if you remove the tb it should be fairly straightforward.
