Default Anyone fit an Apikol FMIC behind a Euro front bumper?

I know there's one lister running a Euro front/FMIC, but interested if anyone's managed to cram the Apikol in what's obviously less space, or even had both of them in hand and tried it. Search found the thread below, but again really want to know if it's been tried or not.
I have the LLtek front bumper extension as a fallback if I can't use the Euro front. TIA.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/125235.phtml">Earlier thread</a></li></ul>

Default My guess after having both the Tom and Marc and Apikol FMICs: No way, not without....

having to cut into the aluminum bumper support beam.

Default The Euro bumper means you lose the aluminum support beam, doesn't it?

That's what I suspect may allow the FMIC install with the Euro bumper- even though the bumper fits closer, you don't have the beam to deal with, which should free up a fair amount of room.

Default Yes, its possible without the beam. You may want to decide if the loss of protection is worth it

though? I'd do it, but then again I've never experienced a front end crash before.

Default I would think a front end crash with the bumper support is better than without in terms of ...

damage. Which would you rather have, a sturdy aluminum beam or a thin piece of steel and some plastic? Hmmmm...decisions, decisions.

Default I'd be surprised if an FMIC survives a front end hit regardless of the bumper used....

and after spending a lot of time in Germany lately I really got used to how much better these cars look with the bumpers the designers intended (as opposed to what the feds told them they had to do)
