2014 Audi Q5 TDI aftermarket quote sticker shock
Went to Columbus Car Audio today and got a quote for $7k for some aftermarket parts and install. It included some very good gear, such as the Audison Bit One and Hertz speakers.
Problem is, the trust was broken when I discovered that the same hardware can be purchased from other reputable dealers for a lot less. The Bit One was quoted at $1k from Columbus Car Audio, but others have it for $750. When asked if they would install gear I provided, the salesman said, "Yes, at double the installation price."
Usually when people try and screw me, they usually add a little Astroglide to the mix. But this place has unabashed contempt for would-be customers.
Looking for some nice gear but don't want to overpay or spend that kind of money.
