Default Audi TT (Mk1) Stereo Upgrade Help Needed (Not Bose)

Hello all. I recently took ownership of my first Audi TT Coupe and wow what a car. I know have my first problem, stereo up grade.

I have a JVC KD-X220, which is radio and USB only type thing.

So I pulled out the Audi stereo hoping the wiring harness I had for the stereo to connect into a Ford would work and of course, not a chance. So can anyone tell me how I get these original Audi stereo leads....

to connect to these leads on the stereo....??

Hope someone can help....
Thanks

Not that I have any solutions, but what year is the TT? From my experience, a place like Crutchfield sometimes has good information. Check out their website.

Ok, like I thought Crutchfield has what you need:

JVC KD-X220 Digital media receiver (does not play CDs) at Crutchfield.com

and click on "See the installation gear you need" on the right at the top. From what I can tell, the complete "kit" to make everything work, including steering wheel controls is around $101, plus S&H. (the lower prices are the prices when you order it with the car stereo from what it seems).

$101 are you having a laugh???
what are you even talking about? I am not interested in spending loads of money just to make an mp3 player work!! And i do not care about other controls.. and why are you sending me info on US sites when i am in the UK?
No offence but please read my post properly before replying.

I fail to see where you said you were in the UK, had you said that I wouldn't of offered up that website. That company is very good at integrating non-factory radios into cars here in the US. Audi's are complicated cars - they aren't you typical Ford or whatever. If you find a cheaper/easier way, go at it.
