Now I have a V8 iPhone
Installed the new CarPlay firmware update on my Pioneer 8000NEX this afternoon. Install was straightforward. Functionality seems good and Siri works nicely for calls & messages and maps. Not much exploring done yet beyond that. Home screen is much nicer to look at than the wild disco of the NEX home screen...and certainly better than the Symphony radio that was sitting in there 2 weeks ago.
