Liam - I posted on AWOT earlier today regarding the Montreal club scene for the F1 race next month. I'll be coming up with a group of guys who will be looking for something a little different - first in strip clubs, and also in the regular club/bar scene. We went last year, and at least in strip clubs, found the most fun in a little place tucked away in a downstairs location somewhere (on St Catherine?) just a couple of blocks south of our hotel (up near the old Forum- I forget the name) . Super Sex and Chez Paree, etc. didn't do much for me - too "corporate".
We will be spending most of our time down around Crescent St., etc. Any good regular clubs down there? We're a bit older - 40's - so something with a good mix would be good. We did run across a place last year that looked pretty interesting. It was down around the Crescent area - maybe a couple of blocks down below and a block or two off where all the street parties were going on. An old gothic looking place with an iron fence around it - there was a huge party going on inside and out - costumed dancers, fire jugglers, great looking women hanging off the second floor balcony, all sorts of wild **** going on -great trance music - any idea what this might have been?
Hope that gives you enough info.
Thanks for you help,
Victor

I was going to suggest him the SS but if he sais that it's to corporate...
I don't know what strip club he's looking into. As for clubs, the Living is nice and have 40y.o dude somethimes. All the other place I know, are not really for 40 y.o man. Unless he's looking for 17-18+ y.o girls...
The place on cressent with chicks he saw last year, must be the Newtown. It's a nice lounge but drinks are not really affordable (for me at least)

Could it have been?
<a href="http://www.clubwanda.com/">Wanda's club?</a>
As for bars, it's also been a few years but we enjoyed <a href="http://www.bar-resto.com/thursdays/">Thursday's</a> and SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL PUB
Here are links you may appreciate: <a href="http://www.toutmontreal.com/english/eguide/bars/bytype.html#bars">Bars review</a>

Well, since they're older gentlemen. I suggest going to "Thursdays" or to a SS, "Downtown"...
is a good one and it's not that far from Cresent. I believe it's near Drummond.
