Warranty work. It would've cost about ~$10k.

Didn't notice any broken mounting tabs, but was it damaged in a collision or from somebody smoothing out all those annoying pointy bits on the gears?

Default A hammer and an Impact...these are a "mechanics" favourite tools....this is why I do my own work!

No offense, I just hate using impacts for anything but removing wheel nuts and really old, rusty suspension components.
