Wow again...
you'd have thought that regardless of the fact that your car was worth more than $12k theoretically (even though you bought it at arms length, so you'd think they'd argue the opposite by saying that was in fact its market value) they would still at least pay you for the value of the car, instead of taking some easy BS fine print route to get out of paying a cent on the policy! Wow. But then again, that's insurance companies for you (no offense if you still work at one!) I've heard they try to use any angle to deny you, so I guess the fine print counts...
