I'm saying size wise since that seems to be important.
R class has 15 cu ft behind the THIRD row so it is clearly larger than the B class.
The Cayenne is the same size as the B class.

The cayenne seems much bigger than the B Class...
The same dealer had a B there as well, but the Cayenne's cargo space seems quite a bit bigger than the B.

Do people really make fun of you for owning an A3. I tell you people in NA are a strange bunch. But yes since you have an A3 I guess an Avant would be a bit too similar. The new avant is beautiful though. Would take that over any SUV any day. Out of the three cars you listed however I would take the Q7.
