What Detroit 3 vehicle would you say "I'd buy that"...given the appropriate circumstances?

If I really had to....a Volt (and then ducks flying shoes)...
Most of my driving is across Hamilton, certainly within the <projected> electric-only distance of the Volt. I saw an EV-1 years ago in California - had everybody in the rental car roll down the windows to hear it accelerate off the line (yeah, stealthy!) From some of the stuff I have heard about the Volt, though, like the EV-1, it appears more of a teaser than anything - again reinforcing what they CAN do....but won't.

You have to give Ford credit for that, A M had sold about 40 cars the year before...
Ford bought it, and was essentially dead. They did a great job resurrecting the brand, and sold it last year for some much needed cash. With the economic downturn this year, I'd say it was perfect timing.
