MSQ5

First post. Just picked up my new S-Line Q5 3.0T. I'm not new to forced induction engines - several prior turbo cars, but first supercharged Audi. Now that they are discontinuing the 3.0T except in the SQ5 it was time to get one while I could. Been following that model and engine for a while.

Second post here haha. I'm also new, but was looking at the 3.0T. Eventually my wife convinced me the extra $$ could be used for a vacation , so we just got a 2.0T. Congrats on your purchase. Post pics so I can ooh and aah

Thanks. I will do. I'm looking to perhaps go APR Stage 1 ECU reflash after the first dealer oil change.


I come from a pretty strong performance background with deep experience in modified forced induction engines - turbo Volvos, Saabs and Mazdaspeed, so I'm not afraid to make sensible ECU changes to increase performance. No hand grenade stuff, but nice safe increases in engine performance.


I'll be seeking opinions on experience with APR Stage 1 tunes.


Not interested in appearance mods - want stealth, but with SQ5 performance.
