My 2013 Q5 panoramic roof has been making creaking noise . I know the noise comes from the roof, cause, just like everybody else who experienced the same exact problem, if you keep the roof open, the noise stops. The dealer applied some adhesive fleece, and made some adjustments with no success. I had to take the car back into the shop and let them know that the issue was never resolved. After keeping my car the second time for about a week, they called to tell me that they couldn’t fix the noise, and that any further repair may or may not be covered under my car warranty by AUDI. So, they'll have to get Audi approval. So, I am now waiting to hear back from Dealer. My car warranty will actually run out in just few months. I am not very happy right now, cause I did not buy a cheap car to have this type of problem and to make things worse, I am being told that the issue may not be covered by warranty. Anybody in the same situation? Why would the issue not be covered if the car still under warranty and this is a known issue.
