Default Anyone know anything about the lofts at Santana Row?

Wondering how the noise level is, and any other problems or issues experienced by people living there. Thanks in advance!

Default Not much available there anymore. Only 2+ bedrooms are facing away from the strip.

Interesting setups though..perfect for a bachelor, but seriously that's it.

I mean, the two bedrooms have openings to the living room, so you're never really in an enclosed room..i.e. you could chat with your housemate while your'e both in your own beds.

Default Yeah, kind of what I thought.

My girlfriend and I took a look this weekend, and I was seriously underwhelmed, especially with the $830k price tag. That's quite a bold statement: That living in a shopping mall is equivalent to living in some of the most highly desireable places in the entire SF Bay Area- actually, the entire world. I think you're dead-on re the bachelor pad thing.

Unfortunately, my girlfriend is, I think, pretty interested.

Sigh.

Default Don't know about the lofts...

My parents recently moved into a Villa across from the Valencia. They get some noise from the V bar on the weekends, but other than that it's not bad. They did however, move to a bedroom that wasn't on the street side. This was because of a jackass neighbor that they didn't want to share a wall with rather than the street noise though.

Default Your parents = ballers. ;)

Make sure you use their place when they're gone to pick up drunk, easily impressed girls at the V Bar.

"Yeah, this is my place. It's a little small compared to my flat in Paris, but it's home. Did you want to see the bedroom, Ginger?"
