Q3 Seat

Q3 Seat
Hello. I am the proud new owner of a 2015 Q3. This is the third Audi I have owned. I have back problems and Audi seats have historically been the only car seats my back tolerates for long periods of time. My last car was a Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagon, which I had an Audi A4 seat installed in because the Jetta seat was painful. After one week of ownership of the Q3, my back is killing me. My chiropractor and gym trainer believe it's the way I'm getting into the car, so I will change that. I also ordered running boards for it, so I can step onto the board and slide in. I am thin and fit, so this is not a fitness issue. Has anyone else had problems with the Q3 seat? It is very similar to my past Audi seats but much more firm. I had to sell a Volvo I bought for the same reason years ago. I would love to find a way to make this car work for me.
Thank you!
Thank you!

My wife is super particular about the seats in her cars she's had the Q3 now for nearly 3 weeks and no complaints. She would complain all the time about the seats in her MBZ.
I would try the lumbar air adjustments and see if that helps.
Sorry to hear

Thank you. I've been playing with the lumbar and seat height. My Jetta Sportwagon and previous cars were low riding. I am 5'4" and step up into the Q3 and twist to get in. I'm hoping it's as simple as the way I'm twisting my pelvis to get into the car. I've owned two cars that I couldn't tolerate the seats, so I'm a bit concerned. I love the car otherwise.

The car has regular seats. I have had problems with two other seats over the years. I put a 2005 A4 seat in my 2009 Jetta Sportwagen. I ordered a 2008 A4 seat and will have it installed in my Q3 next week. The 2005 1/2 to 2008 A4 seat has been the best seat for my back. This will be my fourth vehicle with the same style seat.
