There's not many q3's on the ground and supply is tight right now.

Our dealer 'has' to keep 2 for demo work. The Sales Manager says they are selling Q3s before they are delivered. Our order was an allocated car that was changed to fit our specs. Ordered late 10-14..due for delivery 2nd week of Jan 15.

I am interested in a Q3 for my son. Will have to check with my dealership soon.

The dealer near me just got 6 more Q3's according to their website inventory, making for a total of 9 Q3's. Maybe supplies are getting more plentiful.

Default Q3 arrival delayed

Well our car that we ordered in September is not due to arrive until around February 20. Apparently there was a rail workers'strike in Germany that delayed things. By the way, where are US bound Q3's built? I've seen references to Slovakia, India, and China.

My dealer has 11 Q3's in stock, makes me wonder how well they are selling

Just because they show on the web site doesn't mean that they're not spoken for.

MPBQ3 - good point. That being said, I still see very few Q3's on the road where I live, maybe 2 since day one. I see many more A7's than Q3's, maybe it's demographics - lot's of rich folks around here (wish I were one lol). When I spoke to the dealer a month or so ago they said people look at the Q3 and then get a Q5 for the size and perceived luxury with the same fuel economy and the Q5 is peppier and has an 8-speed Tiptronc vs. 6-speeds for the Q3. The EPA mileage ratings are the same for the Q3 and the Q5 despite the Q5 going 0-60 in 7.0 seconds vs. 8.2 for the Q3.
I am hoping the 2016 Q3 refresh makes it seem less of a chick's car (the dealer's term, not mine) and more just a fuel efficient little Audi :<), then I might still get one.
