Default 2015 Q5 TDI tie pressures for 255/45/20, 29psi??

The sticker on the door jamb of my 2015 Q5 TDI states that the inflation pressure for the 255/45/R20 tires is 29 psi... Never seen pressures this low. I have them set to 29 psi and the ride is fine...just seems a bit low to me.

What are other owners using?

I have 2015 3.0T with the same tires and on the door jamb it said 33psi so I am using 33psi.

In the USA, the door jamb sticker displays MAX LOAD conditions only. You have to open the Owner's Manual to find Normal load info....

I put 37lbs all around in our 2015 TDI Prestige. Moved up in 2 lb increments every few weeks until I found the sweet spot of ride and handling for my tastes. Did this for 10 new cars (BMW's and Merc's) over past dozen years or so. Invariably my preference is for higher than recommended pressure but always well below max pressure on tires. Added benefit has been greater tread life for me. Never noticed any adverse effects.

The sticker on my door has normal and max load. One sticker shows 2 people and a case and the other 5 people and 4 cases. For 2 people and a case the tyre pressure on a 255/45/R20 is 39psi all round (2.7 bar). For max load this is increased to 40.5psi (2.8 bar)......at least according to the stickers on my door!

Did you leave them at 37 psi? How's the tire wear? I'm trying to figure out the same thing. The manual shows 39psi for an sq5 with the same size tires.

I do 35psi on mine. Don't mind a little over inflation for better mileage.
