Default Broke my seat.

Broke the bolt that holds the seat adjustment bracket. Now the seat is loose.

And you haven't cleaned or dusted down there in years, have you?

Unbolt seat track from floor, clean things up, and go to any machine shop. Should be $20-40 for them to drill out the rest of the bolt (if they can't put a slot in it and spin it out) and replace it with a new high grade stainless bolt. Assuming you're not overloading the seat and something else won't go.

A body shop with the right tools could do it also, but a machine shop is more likely to have a grinder or metal drill that is right for the job.

You can probably guess what a "proper" replacement seat from Audi would cost.

But now you know why Ringling Bros. never ever used a Q5 as a clown car. You just can't stuff enough of 'em in the front seats!

Well I am 6'6" 320 pounds so I'm not tiny.
I sit as far back as possible so there is a lot of stress on that bolt.

Just by me sitting in the front to seat is overloading it. Not to worried about getting the bolt out. I should be able to get it.
As far as the dust, I live in the desert. I could detail my car and have a layer of dust on it in less than 30 minutes.
