So this tray fits on your 2016 Q5? The listing on ebay only shows up to 2014. Wanted to confirm before ordering as I have a 2015 and for some reason the listing tells me its not compatible.

Lighter socket in center console with USB adapter. It's a switched 12v.

waiting for my new 3l q5 to arrive

is there a small space under the inset?
i.e. is there no interference from the lighter socket with a USB adapter hitting the insert when it goes in?
it does look like the insert is not as deep as the opening under the arm rest
