Agreed -- I was looking for the visible damage and it just didn't look like it was a lot. I hit a jacked up delivery van in my GTI going < 5 mph at a light. This was back when I was a kid. The bumper was higher than mine and had no give. I ended up with a near perfect 6" imprint of a van bumper in the grill, lights, radiator, everything. It was like 2 or 3K to fix on a much cheaper car two decades ago. Bad times.

I love the paintball idea. I'm going to use it on all the left-lane nappers in WA.

I have a 2014 Q5 Premium Plus (non-SLine) 3.0 TDI. I removed the license plate mounting plate on the front of the car. The front grill filler plate I purchased and installed is part number: 8R0-807-287-E/8R0-807-287-D. This is gloss black (T94) and for a Q5 with parking sensors.
