Go to phone, memory, on the list you will see phone synced entries (with small phone icon) and MMI stored entries (with car icon). Select name/destination you want to delete and scroll way down. You will see Delete entry option. Very confusing, as you create entry in Nav and need to delete it from Phone....

If you go to the Nav directory and hit Settings, there is an option to delete the entire directory, but if you only want to delete individual entries, just open each one up, scroll down and select Delete contact. If the contact is synced from your phone, then obviously you need to delete it from your phone and not the MMI.
EDIT: Oh, I just noticed you have the 3G and not 3G+, so your options might be slightly different.

Why do they have to make this so damnest complicated?? Or am I just some old fart... don't think I'm that computer illiterate!
My wife wants to use our old Garmin on the suction cup because she knows how to use that. Gonna spend some time with the manual etc today. Have a bunch of old destinations to remove etc...probably going to experience some frustrations!
