Just got a letter today from Audi regarding the ECM solfware. MyQ5 is 2013 3.0T. The recall is state for certain 2012-2016 model year. Anyone else gets the recall note?

Me too. Also has a threat that in California you cannot renew your registration without proof that the recall has been performed. It's a little bit of a strange restriction given that according to the recall notice all they are doing is opening a parameter so that the check engine light doesn't go on so easily. Why should that prevent a new registration? Is anyone else concerned that there might be some other de-tuning that will happen with the new software? Some sort of overreaction to the TDI scandal?

Already scheduled with dealer to have the ECM update that Thursday. Will talk to a SA to find out if the update would effect the performance. I wouldn't be a happy camper if it's effect the performance!

Do you really expect him to give you the true answer, if he even knows it to begin with? He is going to tell you what you want to hear and get you on your way.
