Hey guys, just got off the phone with John at H&R. Since ECS wasn't very helpful, I decided to go straight to the source.

I have the 29001-3 version and plan to install them on my US-spec '15 SQ5. John asked me to verify the part numbers on the actual springs (not just the model number). I have 29001 VA (F) for front, and 29001 HA (R) for rear. The rears have a yellow paint mark next to these, and this is what John needed to verify that these are the correct springs for our US SQ5s. They should drop the front by about 1", and the rear by about 0.8".

I really hope this is accurate. Time will tell. I'll post before/after pics with measurements in the next few weeks...still patiently waiting to take delivery of the car. For now I just have a bunch of parts!

H&R website germany states -3 is for tdi model sq5. That's why is only 1 inch drop because euro Model is lower already then the us , I say go with the -1. I sent back my -3

Gonna keep the -3 and hope for the best. I'll see if my guy at TyrolSport has any input before installation.

Will be great to compare your -1 and my -3 on same model car once we both install. That will hopefully settle this for everyone else. I hope we both get the look/ride we're each looking for!

Its almost comical

That exact rear spring pn WILL drop your SQ5 1.5inches on the rear.

Ask me how I know. I would wager all in if you're a gambling man..

So, you will drop 1.0 on the front and 1.5 on the rear. Period.....then you will be pissed and calling John again for the replacement set of springs.

Oh, and paying labor again.

Ask me how I know.

Yes, I installed my set twice.

No cutting of bump stops needed.

No special tool for the pinch bolt. The fronts are like any quattro B or C body. The rear is tricky but follow any of the B8 diy threads. I used a spring compressor AND lowered the rear subframe a bit.
