An introduction, a message from AWE Tuning

Yeah, frankly a little hard to have confidence in this flash without seeing that you guys actually tested it on an SQ5.
The SQ5, even if the motor is the same (and there is SOME debate on that), has additional cooling capacity over an S4/S5 as well as more parasitic loss.

I had the same problem collecting information about this. AWE wasn't real helpful, so I went right to GIAC (who makes the software).
There is a software SPECIFIC to the SQ5. They said is ABOUT 420BHP/375TQ (of course these are crank numbers). GIAC says there is also a Stage II, which is supposed to bump you +30BHP/+25TQ. GIAC's website GIAC|Software upgrade leader for Audi, BMW, Porsche and VW cars has a dealer finder so you can find tuners in your area using this software.
Although the performance is a little more than APR's setup, I'm not sure that I would choose GIAC over APR...APR just seems to know alot more about the SQ5 and have the specific details down-pat. I feel more confident that they know what they're talking about versus GIAC...and certainly more than AWE.
Just my 0.02, but I'd love to hear from some people that actually have the different tunes and what their impressions were.

Andrew,
On a SQ5 w/21s I noticed the rear track is narrower than the front. What spacer would even it w/the front? also for a 2nd option what spacers would you recommend front and rear to fill out the wheel wells? will there be any tire wear issues?

I'm not Andrew, but this is a typical question. 10mm front and 20mm rear. You don't want to go more than 20mm with spacers. I went 12.5mm on the front and they're flush. The back is also flush, but with the negative camber on the rear of the SQ5, it's flush with the middle of the wheel, not necessarily the top. If you use spacers, make sure to get the hubcentric type...can't emphasize that enough.
