Hello all,
It's been a while but it's time to purchase a new ride, been looking at the Q5 2.0T from a few different years, 2011 and 2012 mainly. I've been trying to line up things side by side to compare for any differences , styling, options or otherwise and am finding that my head is spinning a little bit. (we have considered also a 2010 or 2013 depending on mileage and options as well)

[B]Does anyone know perhaps what if any differences there are between a Q5 2.0T premium plus, convenience pkg, premium audio, MMI Nav pkg from 2011 vs 2012? any additional insight to help us make a decision is most welcome.

PS> I did read the oil consumption sticky about the problem, this may only affect up till the 2011 Q5 and fully cured in the 2012+ Q5's?

We went with 2012 plus with the 8 speed. The 8 speed was a mid year change. We found our 2012 with only 19k, 3 weeks ago. Love it.

We bought a 2.0T 2011 Premium plus last January. It does have the 8-speed. If you go with the 2011, make sure you check the oil consumption. We had Audi replace our pistons and rings when we bought the car. It was paid by Audi under the new extended warranty.

Check also the front grill / bumper if paint has started to peel off. Audi USA won't fix it.

The 2.0T Q5 has always had an 8-speed trans in the US.

I think the hp increased from 211 in 2011 to 220 in 2012.
