Several sources tested the A8L 4.0t in the mid to low 12's. S8 nets another 1/2 to 3/4 of a second. But I will agree that the Q5/SQ5 3.0t is very quick as well.

Once it cools off here in Oklahoma I may try to convience the wife to head down to the track with her SQ5 and see how it does. With the 20" wheels and tires being almost 10lbs per corner lighter and the minimal mods done to it so far makes me wonder how it would do.
Hopeful for under a 2 second 0-60ft and a ET in the low 13's.

Is the Q5 loaner the 2.0 or 3.0?
I found the 3.0 docile when driving around but once you step on it and the revs climb it gets going. The A8L 4.0 I got to drive is similar, but obviously more power.

I've had a 2.0t in the past. This one is a 3.0t. It's not a bad motor at all. I really like the power delivery for around town driving. Not so much for high speed passing. Lot's of twisty 2 lane highways around here and the speed limit is 70. When you only have small stretches on the straightaways to pass I really miss the 4.0t.

Had a last minute opportunity to go to the track Sat afternoon. Ran 13.36 and 13.35 with 1.96 and 1.95 60ft. MPH was 100.7 both runs. This track is an NHRA track, so I trust the ET better here than the other track I went to a couple of weeks ago, but what a huge difference in MPH!
Both times I ran when I looked at my speedo in the traps it was well over 160 KMh, maybe around 165, which converts to 102 mph. Either way, the Q5 worked really well today with just a Chipwerke. 13.3s are impressive times!
Slip breakdown:
60ft: 1.963
1/8: 8.554
1/4: 13.369
MPH: 100.77
60ft: 1.951
1/8: 8.519
1/4: 13.351
MPH: 100.7
