As the owner of a 2013 Q5 Hybrid, and have endured some envy over the claims of better fuel mileage and performance, I'm watching the VW/Audi diesel scandal develop with some amusement. The Q5 3.0 TDI has now been implicated at least indirectly in the unfolding drama.

Luckily it hasn't been affected by the recall, although my knuckles are white as I'm following the investigation. This better not affect the best Q5 variant (IMO)

The Q5 TDI is one of the best cars I have ever driven, hands down. Even after driving a handful of Mercedes-AMGs, Teslas, and an Audi S8.
