After waiting for nearly 14 weeks she finally came. My new SQ5 - midnight blue on black/brown napa. I love how the midnight blue changes colors in different light. In the day its dark blue, at dusk more grey-ish blue, and at night its nearly black.
I can't get over how much fun this car is. In 2 days I've put over 200 miles on her. Well, enough chit chat, here are some pics!
She's a beauty! Enjoy. I just have the 2.0T but my wife (who drove home yesterday evening from a party for her brother, in town to CA from CO) always raves about how smooth & easy it is to pilot. This, coming from a 2011 Porsche 911 S driver!
Nice! She looks really purple in that top picture. You need to get a blend mount and mirror tap for your escort 9500.
I started shooting about an hour before dusk and was so happy to watch the colors change as the sun set. In bright daylight its a very dark blue, but will change from blue to purple to blue-ish grey to black. It seems like Audi has really nailed the paint colors with great depth.
The blend mount is on its way. I'm actually thinking about going with the 9500ci and putting the detector and jammers behind the grill. Justifying the $2k price tag is hard though.
