Default SQ5 Offsets...

Hey there,

Does anyone know the offset for the OE 21" rim for the SQ5 as well as the 19" and 20" option packages for winters from Audi?

Also, I was wondering what offset range is for the SQ5?

I want to make some winter tire decisions and I have seen lots of conversations speaking to, width, height and so on but rarely is the offset of the rim someone used mentioned. I ask only because I would rather try for the right offset vs spacers after the fact.

Thanks,

Blu

PS Oh forgot to mention that we did get our 2015 SQ5 Daytona Grey, Technik, B&O, Sunshades, 21". It is my wife's car to carry around our new 8 week old baby. Go figure, kid has a nicer car than her dad (for now ). lol :-/

I just purchased a set of 18X8 35ET for my '15 SQ5. I used the tirerack selector to chose the correct wheel and these fit. Barely and without any spacers.

I put some pictures in this post.

Stock offset is ET33 all around. With 255 width tires, you're good down to about ET10 in the rear and ET20 up front. I run spacers that put me at 23 front, 13 rear and there is a little room to push wider. I would not get anything with a higher offset than stock. As far as getting wider tires and worrying about the suspension, I have no idea there but I would bet there is room for at least 295s under our fenders.

JB!!!!!

You are the man!!! Thank you...a picture is worth a 1000 words for sure.

I always find it weird that when I post in these forums I get very little traction.

If I may; do you have ANY rubbing or other issues with ET25? Just so I am clear, the ET25 is a more aggressive stance that has the tires more flush with the fender than the stock ET33?

I am thinking of going with:

Hartmann HRS6-204-GS 18", 19" and 20" Replica Wheels for Audi Q5 and SQ5

ET25

and

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....corpion+Winter

in the 255/45/20 size.

It rains a lot where I live and it snows a few times a year. Almost all of the driving we do will be city/hwy with the odd short gravel road once or twice a year. If I where somewhere with a dedicated winter season I would have gone with 19's.

Thoughts? Thanks again for piping up!

This is a Q5. You aren't gonna rub fenders unless you drop it 2 inches or more.
