These BBS XAs look great, almost like factory rims. And the smaller 19" size and taller sidewall actually means business, and not just posing. 21s sure look great, but they are as far disconnected from practicality as can be. If you live in a place that doesn't have glass smooth roads, you are constantly on the hunt for potholes, trying to either slow down or slalom around them. This defeats the whole purpose of an SUV/truck. I guess everyone needs to decide for themselves what is more important.

Yes the 19" does look much better - must be the rims that matches with the higher sidewall tires..

Default 19" Wheel package and don't overinflate...

… this will give you more sidewall flex and smooth it out. Make sure you are running qt least 4-6 lbs less inflation that the max on the driver's door jam. That will reduce the jittery ride and still be within spec (unless the car is carrying gear and four people)

That's my 2 cents worth. I routinely transport elderly folks in my RS5/S4/S5 and a few pounds out of the tires does wonders on the CA expansion joints. I then adjust up for canyon carving.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby - all else now is a distant second place…

Eric
