Clearly, their spokesman that day for your call was a $10.00/hour dude sitting at a computer and reading the scripted message provided.
Ridiculous and for me, it just throws gasoline (or diesel in this case) on the fire.

We are stuck in limbo, between the proverbial rock and the hard place, awaiting the remedy.....and this could take months.

Some kind of warranty extension that would be transferrable would be nice (like Porsche did- but don't know if that is transferrable) but they can take their time because if the "fix" requires some type of reflash I will be in NO hurry to have that done! I like the way it runs right now thank you very much.
I'd be afraid to take it in for any kind of warranty work as they'd probably reflash it even if I told them expressly NOT to...

First of all, they don't have any update for the EPA issue yet.

Secondly, use auditalk@audi.com or call 800-822-2834.

VW is expanding the goodwill compensation to 3.0 TDI affected vehicles (Touareg) according to Reuter's today. Same as the 2.0 TDI gift card program.
Audi was mentioned, but nothing very specific, but a vague reference to our brand.

An Audi spokesman said on Sunday a similar goodwill program is in the works for its 3.0 liter vehicles.
So it sounds like VW will announce it for Toureg, but Audi won't announce it just yet for 3.0 TDIs.

It is reasonable to be frustrated given the poor response from VW, and that we want prompt resolution. We may wish to be careful not to negotiate with ourselves.

Because we do not have a complete assessment of the issues or the solutions, it seems premature to know what a reasonable settlement looks like.

Here is the latest from Fox

VW to propose diesel emissions solution to EPA next week.
